Welcome to the iStylr.

It was way over 7 years ago (about 2001) that Stephan Helbig started the development of his powerful content management system, nexecutive. With his first clients he came to the point where his system-templates needed to be customized. And this customisation task was it that annoid him. It annoied him so much that he started to constantly seeking for ways to make the theme and template development as easy as 1 2 3 and still enable even the inexperienced user to complete any design. A pretty hard task as it came out.

In 2004 he released the so called "Themeritis" a nexecutive integrated theme creator/changer. Though the functionality was very limitet and yes, the name wasn't choosen wisely.

So he continued to thinking about ways to improve the time consuming task of designing themes and templates.

It was the summer of 2005 when he got the vision of the iStylr and he instantly got into development. His vision was a tool that can handle any system type (Blogs, Shops, CMS, Forums, etc.). A tool that makes use of webstandards and enables it's users to create beautiful tableless css designs within minutes. A tool that makes the pro's save lots of time during template development and still makes newbees getting started fast.

And here it is: The iStylr, an online application that enables you to easily create, edit and share tableless css designs online. It lets you im- and export almost any website and allows you to create themes on the basis of other people's designs.
